Why do we give to the local church?
Giving begins with realizing that God has given us everything we have. And as believers we have a responsibility to manage ALL of our resources with faithfulness and generosity.
"Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine." (Proverbs 3:9-10)
Throughout scripture, we are reminded of the importance of giving back a portion of what God has so generously provided. His Word tells us that giving is an act of worship that should be done with a spirit of thanksgiving.
