On December 21, 1969, Elder Daryl J. Collins a native of Lubbock TX was born to the parents of Elder Charles and Jean Collins. At the age of 14 Elder Collins heard and accepted the call of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 1994, under the leadership of Bishop W.H. Watson he was ordained an elder in the Church of God in Christ. While attending Texas Tech University, Elder Collins responded to the voice of the Lord to enter into the ministry full time. From then on he has been appointed and anointed to minister in various capacities in the ministry. Striving to adhere to the directives of Joshua 1:8, Elder Collins has made it his goal to speak, mediate, and walk in the ordinance of God.

​In addition to his preaching abilities, Elder Collins possesses a plethora of gifts and talents, serving in a variety of offices in the local, state, and national church. He has served as the co-pastor, administrator, Worship Leader, and now pastor at Agape Temple COGIC. He also operates as the Texas Northwest Finance Chairman and the leader of the Inspirational Praise Team. Furthermore, he works in the finance department for the International Church of God in Christ. The Lord has bestowed upon him numerous gifts and talents such as, the gift of preaching, teaching, pastoring, prophesy, word of knowledge, exhortation, and administrations. Through these gifting he has ministered under the anointing in revivals and workshops across the country.
 

One of Elder Collins’ greatest accomplishments is being the husband of his lifelong friend and partner Lady Le’Gena Watson-Collins and fathering three beautiful children Alisha Michelle, Elizabeth Ashley, and Stephen Christopher.
